For banks not supported for Auto Negotiate, we have the option of Regular Negotiation. In Regular Negotiations, our algorithm will find the fees most likely to be refunded and will generate a personalized message for you to send to your bank to start the negotiation. Here are the steps to start an Regular Negotiation once you have signed up and linked your bank.
- From your Dashboard or the Fees Central click on the Negotiate button.
- Under "You Do It Yourself For Free" select the banks you want to negotiate (if the bank is under "We Do It For You" it is supported for Regular Negotiate), accept the Terms and Conditions ,and click Next until you get to Script.
- You will see a personalized message for each account in that connection. Copy the message.
- Go to your bank's website and login.
- Choose the bank contact method you want to use to negotiate: live chat*, email, mail, phone call. Not all banks have all options**. To see your bank's contact information you can Google "[bank] customer service" or login and search for the Contact Us/Customer Service part of their website.
- Paste the personalized message and send it (call the bank if you prefer to do it via phone***)
- Go back to the Harvest tab and click next and then Finish Negotiations.
*banks' live chat is usually only available for logged in users and can usually be found in the lower right corner of their website
